What’s NXT for RSS?

A question we get from our prospects quite often is, “Can NXTbook provide RSS feeds?” Our short answer is, “Yes.” I won’t provide the long answer here (call us!) but the short answer is usually enough to satisfy most customers, often because a lot of them know RSS is coming, but - for their customers, at least - it isn’t “here” yet.

Bob Scoble has a great post on this subject, discussing the fact that while RSS is only used by 2% of the population, that number has seen strong growth in the past few years and is poised to grow even stronger in the next few years. All of which goes to say it’s time to be asking your digital publisher what they can do with RSS because - slowly but surely - the market will move there.
