Social Concept Falls on Deaf Ears?

This Old House has a special issue coming out, retitled Our Old House, because the content is user-generated. This is a very cool idea.

 That being said, it’s a shame they didn’t go the extra mile to make this a digital magazine, too. If people like something even better than sharing good content, it’s sharing their own content. Me thinks the links would’ve spread like wild-fire, resulting in good (and FREE!) promotion of this relatively forward-thinking idea.
