Fellow ISTAT Member,
Here we are with ISTAT Americas 2014, the 31st annual conference, upon us
from 16-18 March in San Diego, Calif. With the new year rocking along, we see
some positive signs in various areas of our industry, while we are still dealing
with challenges in others. The program at the Americas conference promises to
provide us with interesting discussion for all aspects of our industry.
You will see some new features at the conference this year, including the
new ISTAT mobile application, which will provide members with valuable tools
to navigate the conference and create more efficient networking opportunities.
Also, we have expanded the meeting space that we introduced in Barcelona and
have branded it "The Deal Zone," which provides members with reserved meeting space close to the conference hall. This has proved to be very popular-all
spaces have sold out in advance of the conference. We have also expanded the
exhibits into more of a trade show format, which will be open during our breaks
between sessions, as well as during lunches.
The conference committee, the board of directors and our management team
have put in many hours of hard work over the past weeks in order to provide you
with a superior conference experience, and I am sure that you will find these
features productive and stimulating.
We all look forward to seeing everyone in San Diego! With events like the
golf tournament at Torrey Pines Golf Course and the Monday night networking
reception at the USS Midway Museum, we are sure to have a fantastic conference.
