world of digital print opportunities.

So often print service providers focus on exteriors: window graphics, banners, and building

wraps. But what about interiors? Walls, floors, furniture, and doors are blank canvases just
waiting for digital print to add some oomph. Smithers Pira's "The Future of Decorative Print
to 2023" report posits that the wallpaper/wallcovering, direct-printed objects, and flooring/
furniture laminates segment is currently valued at $18.9 billion and is projected to reach
$22.5 billion in 2023.
PSPs that confine themselves to the traditional signage and graphics market have great
reason to consider expanding into this emerging sector: Global production of printed textiles
BIG PICTURE
is projected to reach 396.1 billion square feet by 2024 and the digitally printed wallpaper
market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 25 percent, reaching a value of $7.74 billion by 2023
(increasing from $2.53 billion in 2018). "Unquestionably, interior décor offers a lucrative
growth potential for owners of hybrid inkjet technology capable of printing on textiles as
well as rigid surfaces," reads a FESPA report. The following pages showcase a smattering of
