Ae MeMBeRS ON THE mOvE Gina c. Tomlinson, chief technology officer for the City and County of san Francisco, Department of technology, and an alumni member of nsBe, is one of Computerworld’s Premier 100 it leaders for 2012. she and the other selectees were spotlighted in the Feb. 27, 2012 issue of Computerworld and were recognized during the Premier 100 it leaders Conference in Phoenix, ariz., in March. tomlinson is a member of nsBe’s san Francisco Bay area alumni Chapter. Before taking her current job, she served as chief information officer for the san Francisco Municipal transportation agency, and in data center management capacities for the Clorox Company and hewlett-Packard Company. GOOD NEWS AT NAvAIR Petra L. robinson, a member of nsBe’s Central Florida alumni Chapter, was recently promoted to lead systems engineer for the P-8 operational Flight training system at the naval air Warfare Center training system Division in orlando. robinson received her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Florida a&M university, where her involvement with nsBe began. her years of nsBe membership include serving on the executive boards on the collegiate chapter and ae regional levels. she is now pursuing her master’s degree in industrial engineering at the university of Florida, where she maintains a 4.0 gPa. Troy o. Bennett recently accepted his promotion to a gs-13 as the united states Marine Corps Common Products lead systems engineer with the naval air Warfare Center training systems Division (naWCtsD), in orlando, Fla. in his new position, he will use his systems engineering expertise to incorporate common hardware and software products across various military aviation training systems’ architectures, including av-8B, Ch-53, v-22, h-1, Ch-46 and KC-130 aircraft platforms. Bennett, a member of the Central Florida alumni Chapter, joined nsBe at the university of Florida, where he received his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering. he later earned his master’s degree in industrial engineering, with an emphasis on engineering management, from the university of Central Florida. Bennett attributes his success to various leadership experiences he gained as a member of nsBe. ■ Michael H. Martin of nsBe–ae was recently promoted to gs-13 and selected as the e-2C/C-2 legacy training systems lead engineer at the naval air Warfare Center training systems Division. he previously worked as a lead systems engineer on the h-60 training systems Program. Martin is a participant in the naval air systems Command (navair) Journey leadership Development Program (JlDP). he received his bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Florida state university and his master’s degree in industrial engineering, with a focus in engineering management, from the university of Central Florida.
