NEW PRODUCTS & SERVICES ANTENNAS dual polarity 4.9 to 6.1 GHz 22.5 dBi 1 foot flat panel antenna as part of the legacy product line of low cost single and dual polarity directional antennas covering the 5.15 to 5.9 GHz WiMAX, ISM and UNII unlicensed frequency bands and, the 4.9 to 5.1 GHz public safety bands. These antennas are used for both PtP and PtMP applications. This antenna is specially designed for radio cost and form factor reduction without compromising performance. The antenna is joining the current 4.9 to 6.0 GHz product line that already includes a selection of single, dual and MIMO polarity directional antennas for the subscriber end with different gains, and base station antennas such as 60°, 90° and 120° with dual linear vertical and horizontal polarity as well as dual slant -45° and 45°. All antennas are built to withstand the toughest electrical and environmental requirements according international standards such as ETSI while maintaining low cost. Compact 4.9 to 6.1 GHz Dual Polarity One Foot Panel Antenna RFID SMT Antenna with Comprehensive Protection for MTI Wireless Edge Ltd has released a new low cost compact Automotive Applications Rugged High Performance Antennas for Trackside and Rolling Stock Applications PCTEL's line of railroad antennas includes rugged base station, mobile communications, and GPS tracking antennas for trackside and rolling stock deployments. These deployments support several applications, including wayside signaling, voice communications, timing synchronization and Positive Train Control. PCTEL's railroad antennas cover the 160 MHz, 220 MHz, UHF, LTE, CDMA, GSM, WiFi, WiMAX and GPS frequency bands, including various gain options and multiband combinations for greater flexibility in optimizing communications systems solutions. PCTEL also supplies a full line of accessories, including cable assemblies with various low-loss cable types and multiple connector options, fully equipped enclosures, surge protectors and multiple mounting bracket options for various installations. PCTEL constructs its railroad antennas with robust materials, including premium coatings and finishes for long-term reliability. The 160 MHz ASP16 and 220 MHz ASP22 ‘firecracker' antennas are constructed using only stainless steel with a black powder coating for use in locomotive and rolling stock installations. The ASP16 and ASP22 are currently available for purchase, with shipments to commence in Q4, 2011. "PCTEL has made significant investments in the development of high performance antenna solutions for rail applications to address our customers' evolving requirements," said Jeff Miller, PCTEL's senior vice president of Sales and Marketing. "We will continue to work with railroad companies, radio OEMs, and our distribution channels to develop custom solutions consisting of antennas, enclosures and cable assemblies to meet the unique needs of the industry." PREMO has launched a new family of its 1103 standard, universally adopted by industry. This format provides up to 55 mV/Apk-pk/m sensitivity, which gives it the best sensitivity by cm³ in the market. The SDTR1103CAP, is a SMD antenna for low frequency 20 kHz to 150 kHz receiver applications. This series offers upper and lateral side protection with co-polyamide polyhexamethylene polymer walls, gamma radiated with high thermal stability (supports up to 290ºC) and mechanical resistance (exceeds 150 Mpa if mechanical strength). This antenna is equipped with NiZn ferrite core with high surface resistivity (> 10 Mohm/mm) that provides a highly stable behavior (rather than / -2 percent) over a wide temperature range (-40ºC to 125ºC). The new SDTR1103CAP, is an SMD antenna with SuperDrop-Test-Resistant technology with an extended range of operating temperature (-40°C to 125ºC), which makes it suitable for applications such as TPMS (tire pressure monitoring systems) that requires performance under extreme conditions, according to AEC-Q200 and additional requirements as EU regulations. PREMO offers four standard values, 2.38 mH, 4.91 mH, 7.2 mH and 9 mH at 125 kHz. Others inductance values and frequencies, from 340 uH to 16 mH, upon request. TenXc Wireless (TenXc) has introduced its new Multi Band Bi-Sector Array antenna. The solution improves cellular capacity from a single antenna, and provides the functionality equivalent to four antennas. The Multi Band Bi-Sector Array is a second-generation product, evolving from TenXc’s Dual Band Bi-Sector array technology. It fully supports multiple wireless platforms, including LTE, UMTS/HSPA+, EVDO, 1xRTT and GSM across multiple bands: 700 MHz, SMR 800 MHz, Cellular 850 MHz, PCS 1900 MHz, and AWS 1710/2100 MHz. “We are delighted to be introducing this innovation to the wireless network marketplace,” said Rajiv Pancholy, chairman and CEO of TenXc. “Our LTE-ready, multi-band product provides improved performance. Of equal importance is the way we have addressed the expressed needs of our global client base by developing a more compact and lighter-weight enclosure. This solution is an important addition to our portfolio of Bi-Sector array products, providing our customers with additional flexibility to manage the quick and efficient evolution of their wireless networks.” Multi Band Bi-Sector Array Base Station Antenna for Next Generation Wireless Applications 16 ANTENNA SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGY WINTER 2011 WWW.ANTENNASONLINE.COM http://WWW.ANTENNASONLINE.COM
