President's Cup North American Pairs, Flight C
Stanley Weiss and Vladimir Oudalov are the winners in the President's Cup
North American Pairs, Flight C. The pair barely made it out of the qualifying
round, but put together two strong final sessions to take the title.
Representing District 3, Weiss is of Livingston NJ and Oudalov is of Nutley
NJ. Oudalov doesn't play club games - the pair met playing online bridge.
After discovering they are both from New Jersey, they formed a partnership.
Weiss is a professor of epidemiology at a New Jersey medical school and Oudalov is in operations research.
Second place, from District 23, are Murat Veysoglu of Cypress CA and Lisa
Kuo of Rancho Palos Verde CA.
