Life Master
Two ACBL members have advanced to Grand Life Master. This rank requires 10,000 masterpoints and a win in an
NABC+ event or other accomplishments.
Reanette Frobouck of Vero Beach FL recently passed
the 10,000-masterpoint plateau to earn this rank. She won
the Truscott/USPC Senior Swiss Teams in 2008. Frobouck
is a member of the National Charity Committee. She is a
frequent contender in the Barry Crane Top 500.
In the July issue, an incorrect photo appeared with the
story of Frobouck's advancement. The editors regret the
error.
Michael Kamil of Holmdel NJ has also advanced to Grand
Life Master. He is a full-time player who has won the Vanderbilt Knockout Teams, the Nail Life Master Pairs, the Mitchell
Open Board-a-Match Teams and the NABC+ Open Swiss
Teams. Kamil's team won the United States Bridge Championship (team trials), thus earning the right to represent the
U.S. in the Bermuda Bowl in 2011 in the Netherlands. Kamil
was fifth in the World Transnational Open Teams in 2009.
He is a former stock options trader.
