Request for Proposals

Olivia's House benefits from White Rose
Bridge Club event
The White Rose Bridge Club in York PA raised $3,215 by
holding a bridge party on Oct. 16. The funds were donated
to Olivia's House, the first grief and loss center for children in York County PA. Olivia's House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose purpose is to create a safe place
where young people and their families can find support
and share experiences while learning to cope with death.

The American Contract Bridge League will
sponsor three Regionals at Sea in 2013. The
ACBL is accepting proposals from qualified forprofit and non-profit entities that will provide
the best experience and highest level of RAS
services to ACBL Members. The ACBL expects
candidates to demonstrate operational and
travel service experience for contract bridge
tournaments or to identify a partner with such
experience. Proposals may include bids for
one, two or three RAS.

Collegiate Team Championship
The qualifying stage of the 2012 North American Collegiate Team Championship is scheduled for Feb. 18
on Bridge Base Online (software download available at
bridgebase.com). Matches will begin at 1 p.m. EST.
Each participating team must register and designate a
team captain online at www.acbl.org prior to Feb. 1. At
the discretion of the ACBL, late entries may be accepted
to accommodate bracket structure. Please send any
questions to collegiates@acbl.org. Instructions on the
Internet event will be forwarded to each team captain.
Team rosters must be submitted to collegiates@acbl.org
by Feb. 6.
Any number of four-person teams
from a college or university in North
America may enter. Eligible students must
carry a minimum of seven semester hours at
their school and be born no earlier than 1987.
Qualifying team members will be invited
to the Summer NABC in Philadelphia PA to compete in the final
and will be eligible for economy round-trip airfare not
to exceed $500 from a city in
North America, lodging for three
nights and an expense supplement.
