Season's Greetings

It's that time of year again: to enjoy the holiday season and look forward to the coming year of
bridge in the Mid-Atlantic featuring some great locations and the biggest and best regionals in the
ACBL. In 2015, most regionals will have two sessions of regional-rated events starting on Day 1,
and our schedules will take full advantage of expanded stratifications to give 750-3000 MP players as many options as possible. As always, you can count on great I/N programs, plenty of 0-750
Gold Rush games, and excellent hospitality at all 12 Mid-Atlantic regionals in 2015:
North Charleston, SC-Dec. 29-Jan. 4, Embassy Suites, (843) 747-1882. Charleston hosts the
largest holiday regional. The host hotel is already sold out, but there are several nice and affordable

Charlottesville, VA-Jan. 12-18, DoubleTree Hotel, (434) 973-2121. Hospitality to the max with
free coffee every day and an open hospitality suite every night. Room rates are $93 plus $10/extra

Wilmington, NC-Jan. 26-Feb. 1, Hilton Riverside, (910) 763-5900. $105 room rate. Situated in
a beautiful location on the Cape Fear River, this could be a break from the blistering winter. Chair:

Pine Mountain, GA (Callaway Gardens)-March 2-8, Mountain Creek Inn, (800) 2255292. Nestled in the wilderness of Callaway Gardens and only 70 miles from the Atlanta airport, this is the first regional there in 20 years and is a great deal at $89/night. Co-chair: Len

Gatlinburg, TN-April 13-19, Gatlinburg Convention Center. The mother of all regionals, Gatlinburg continues to top the ACBL in tournament attendance. There are playing times to suit everyone, including 9 & 1, 1 & 7:30 regional events, 4:45 dinner bell, and 11:30 Zip KOs. Co-chairs:
