year in a post on Bridge
Winners, Schireson noted
he could win points faster by
playing in limited events than
playing with a pro; though he
aimed to win this race, he also
wanted to learn along the way.

with people who don't have
as many points. "I now have
a network of people that I
can put together to form
teams for any tournament I
choose to attend. Building
this network took time; when
the year began, I had to beg
people to play with me."
