John Swenson 1946-2020

John Warren Swenson, a Ruby Life
Master of Englewood CO, passed away
Jan. 20 from a cardiac event. He was 73.
John was a beloved friend and father
who will be greatly missed by all who knew
and loved him. John was a steadfast champion of those he cherished as a consistent,
thoughtful ear, a generous supporter, and
a kindhearted, loving presence. He was a
friend to all and would always be open to the challenge of a
good game of cards or chess, as he was a skilled opponent in
any circle. John was a lifelong bridge enthusiast and was seen
frequenting the bridge tables of Colorado until his heath kept
him home. In his latter years, John enjoyed playing "It's Your
Call" with his beloved friends Milt, Walt, Kris, Frank, Judy and
Bill.
John served in the Army during the Vietnam War as a pharmacist. He earned his degree from Northwest Missouri State
College and worked as an award-winning life insurance agent
throughout his life.
John is survived by his daughters Tami Lairamore, Rebecca
Swenson and Andrea Moore (Bryan), and his seven grandchildren; Kerouac, Natalie, Elliot, Dylan, Matthew, Marie and
Helen. He is also survived by four siblings and his stepmother.
