the U.S. national youth team dedicated
to promoting the game of bridge to
students through interactive training
sessions and inter-school competition.
While some support for the USBF
Juniors comes from the ACBL International
Fund and Junior Fund, the
operation is run largely by volunteers,
including a star-studded cast of mentors
who fill in to play with and against
the kids. This summer, the ACBL Educational
Foundation organized a charity
auction for the Junior Fund. Dozens
of professional players donated their
time to either play in a Pro-Am game
or give a playing lesson on BBO or
both. Also, an exhibition match of two
Junior teams captained by " Jeopardy! "
James Holzhauer and Zach Grossack
was organized with vugraph commentary
by Larry Cohen and George

United States Bridge Championships
(MSJUSBC) will be held Dec. 27-
Jan. 1, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency in
Atlanta. Players will compete in four
categories:
1) Open under 16 years old (U16;
born in 2008 or later).
2) Open U21 (born 2003 or later).
3) Open U26 (born 1998 or later).
4) Women U26 (Rona Cup; born
1998 or later).
