Would it surprise you to know the
answer is 100%? Let me show you
why. Suppose the opponents have
nine spades. So we have four spades.
Say that you and partner have two
each. The remaining cards in each of
your hands will combine to form at
least one eight-card fit, no matter how
you arrange them. You can change
the spades to 3-1 or 4-0 in our hands,
but it doesn't matter. You'll have an
eight-card fit 100% of the time. How
