While shopping from home boomed
during lockdown, Apostolico and
his team collaborated with distribution
partners to expand QVC and
HSN's integrated streaming service
across most of the popular OTT devices, apps, steamers, social
video sites, and digital over-the-air networks. They also added VOD
content from the channels' most popular shows to the company's
linear networks, websites, and apps. Apostolico stays active in
Qurate's Team Member Resource Groups, which strive to create a
safe work environment centered on inclusiveness and acceptance.

Fiterre continues to find creative ways to
deliver family-friendly, Spanish-language
content to the audiences that want it. The
most recent example is his striking of a
deal with Freecast to launch a new bundle
of content on SelectTV. Dubbed Mis Canales, the 25-channel offering
was designed to contain everything from telenovelas to sports,
and it's meant to complement what was already available to U.S.
Hispanic audiences on FreeCast's SelectTV platform.

Hybrid and flexible work environment. It will allow employees to spend
more time with their families.
FAVORITE C-SPAN BUS MEMORY? Over 25 years ago, being
in the C-SPAN Bus with former Key Biscayne Mayor Joe Rasco.
HOW DOES THE COUNTRY NARROW THE DIGITAL
DIVIDE? Currently the federal government is providing funding to
make sure the US has access to broadband. However, this does not go far
enough. We should ensure that minorities are not excluded. This should
include programming and services to serve all segments of the community.
HOW HAS THE PANDEMIC FOREVER CHANGED
PROGRAMMING? It gave the consumer the time to test other
services and try other technologies. In our case, streaming services.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS
SUMMER? The launch of Canales HD with numerous pay TV
systems. ■
