With a company the size of Comcast, there's a lot of communicating
to be done, every single day. These two tackle that
role from different angles, reporting directly to Comcast chief
Brian Roberts. Longtime company strategist Khoury has been
running comms for decades, and last February was named to
replace D'Arcy Rudnay, who retired after 16 years at the house
of Roberts. She oversees comprehensive external and internal
corporate communications, as well as the corporate digital communications
team, a role she architected over the last decade to
meet the rapidly changing communications landscape. WilsonScott
was promoted last fall to oversee all DEI activities for the
corporation. Her role includes building partnerships to further
Comcast's digital equity efforts. Wilson-Scott continues to lead
the Comcast NBCU Foundation and community impact work,
including the company's $100 million commitment to advance
social justice and equality.

WHAT HABIT ARE YOU KEEPING POST-PANDEMIC?
Reaching out more to check in on family and friends who I don't get
to see very often. There is no need to wait for a special occasion or
for my travels to stay close to the people I love. The more frequent
touch points, even the small ones, have brought me more joy, in a
particularly challenging year. ■

My personal superpower is: Hair growth
It's vital to Moline for ALLO to maintain a small-business vibe
and creative culture even as its footprint expands across Nebraska
and Colorado. Along the way, he is intent on connecting
those without broadband. In May, ALLO announced it will provide
free 500 Mbps service and WiFi routers to households in its
area that meet eligibility requirements for the FCC's Emergency
Broadband Benefit Program. Next on his agenda: more broadband
deployment in the Midwest and Great Plains.

YEARS? More
than they think. The
pandemic has brought
greater awareness
to broadband needs
across the country.
Those in our industry have always understood the impact and the
need but now the rest of the world is learning that just like water
and electricity, we need reliable broadband too. I think households
will continue to increase their usage and providers better be able to
keep up. The majority of our ALLO customers subscribe to our 500
Mbps service with the option to upgrade to a Gig but we're already
looking into 10 Gig and 100 Gig to stay ahead of the curve.
HOW DOES THE COUNTRY NARROW THE DIGITAL
DIVIDE? I think the FCC's Emergency Broadband Benefit Program
is a step in the right direction. We have to first address the lack of
access, starting with the current federal minimum upload speed of 3
Mbps. We need to update our national standards for broadband and
then work together to make it affordable and accessible to all. ■
