Sapan delivered on his vision for AMC Nets in the premium streaming market with the launch of
AMC+, the company's new bundle featuring original programming from across its networks and
targeted streaming services. And those targeted streamers in aggregate more than doubled in paid
subscribers last year, ending 2020 with 6 million subs. Sapan also oversaw AMC's expansion into
AVOD and FAST markets, launching content on platforms including Pluto TV, Amazon's IMDB TV and
Vizio SmartCast. AMC also completed two first-to-market national linear addressable campaigns,
and renewed eight major carriage agreements with distribution partners in the U.S. and Canada.
On the programming front, the company acquired rights to the works of Anne Rice, including " The
Vampire Chronicles " series, and partnered with production company Shaftesbury to bolster the
Acorn TV slate in particular.
