With a slate of scripted and unscripted series dedicated to elevating Black stories, TV One continues to push
the content envelope with its fare. Rice served as GM of TV One since 2018 and of CLEO since its launch in
2019. In October, she was elevated to president of both networks, a sure sign of her success. This spring, TV
One premiered true crime docuseries " Sins of The City, " whose season lead-in discussed the execution of
George Floyd and the impact his death had on the city of Minneapolis. Autobiographical series " Uncensored "
aired a two-part special celebrating the life of recently deceased rapper DMX, and " Unsung " -the network's
longest-running series-is celebrating its 15th season. Rice has guided CLEO to carriage with multiple
distributors, including recent deals with AT&T/DirecTV and Philo TV. ■

Entelis built out the CNN documentary film slate in the past year.
In the summer of 2020, she spearheaded the first documentary
film in collaboration with HBO Max " On the Trail: Inside the 2020
Primaries. " In a time of racial and political unrest, she and her
teams premiered documentary " John Lewis: Good Trouble, "
which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival and launched in Sept
2020 on CNN. It took home an NAACP Image Award in March.
In March, Entelis' group debuted crime documentary " The Lost
Sons " at the SXSW Film Festival. Viewers cooped up due to the
pandemic lockdown had plenty of CNN documentary films to
choose from, thanks to Entelis.
2020 was a year like no other for C-SPAN, and that's not just because
it was an election year in the midst of a global pandemic.
After many years of fighting for greater transparency, it offered
livestream audio from the Supreme Court's chamber for the first
time ever across its main network, radio station, app and website.
The public affairs programmer also stepped up to help school
districts, opening up its C-SPAN Classroom to offer social studies
teachers thousands of free online resources. Kennedy and Swain
recently bid adieu to the beloved C-SPAN Bus, a vehicle that had
become nearly as much of an institution in the industry as the
network itself, but have promised to keep its mission alive. ■
