My daughter is a woman
who has inspired me. She
was diagnosed with cancer
at the age of 18 and has been courageous

team worked
diligently to ensure a smooth transition
after Crunchyroll was acquired
by the Funimation Global Group
in 2021. Her team launched the
Crunchyroll app for Nintendo Switch,
the first app on the console to offer
offline viewing. She's also the founder
of the ERG Funimation Tech Women,
which focuses on the advancement
of women in technology.
The most game-changing
moment in my career
occurred when I hired a
leader with more domain expertise
and raw talent than I had. Not only did
I not get fired for bringing in someone
'better' than me-I actually got
promoted and given more responsibility.
It taught me great leaders aren't
great because of what they can do on
their own but because they hire and
nurture other leaders to build strong
and diverse teams that can scale. "

Helping employees safely return to
the office while honoring the flexibility
in remote work as well as ensuring
a smooth transition as she moves to
her new position as EVP and chief
people officer at parent Cox Enterprises
at year-end were priorities in
2022. Bennett supports mentorship
and advocacy programs in and
outside the company and champions
equity diversity and inclusion through
Cox's national diversity council and
operating objectives.

when I was the only woman
in the room: speak loudly so
no one feels the compulsion to explain
what you have just said. "

year, Pizzi has sold 16 formats as
well as led the relaunch of MTV's
" The Real World, " the expansion of
" The Challenge " and development of
Emmy-winning " Lizzo's Watch Out for
the Big Grrrls. " She also transformed
Bunim/Murray's leadership team and
launched its first artist in residency
program. In March, the studio teamed
with Virtual Arts to form Wonderfuel,
which is developing unscripted series
funded by NFTs.
I wish I had been told early
in my career to embrace
failure. You will strike out far
more times than you will get a hit in
this business. Most projects never get
sold, many get sold and die in the
development process, some shows
get produced and never air. I try to
celebrate the little victories and find
the professional reward in each stage
of the creative process. "

Taylor stepped into a new role in June
and embraced the opportunity to
lead the linear scheduling strategy for
her portfolio of nearly 30 networks.
She's already found tremendous
success with the WBD networks,
delivering 15 of the top 20 freshman
shows among A25-54 as of 2Q22.
HGTV and Food Network have been
standouts, reaching nearly 60 million
combined viewers per month in total
day in 2022 to date.
My go-to life hack for
relieving stress is listening to
music. Music can lift up,
shift perspective or even unlock an
idea that was potentially blocked. "

Your career is a marathon,

Sometimes people make career
decisions for short-term gain without
thinking about how it could impact

balance between patience and
ambition has been critical to the
