Ward and Ampersand CEO Nicolle Pangis are the definition of the mantra " yes, and. " And
not just because the two work so well together. Their relentless pursuit of scale of multiscreen
TV inventory and data insights is helping to transform the television and media
advertising industry. Ward, whose roots are in linear TV, understands implicitly the need
to have linear as a core element of the offering. He was a leader in the industry's first
addressable TV trial in Huntsville, Alabama, at Comcast in 2007. Highlights from Ward's
past year include the deployment of Ampersand's National addressable solution across
the combined footprint and the launch of the company's Total TV analytics and measurement
package.

First Job in the Industry: I worked at a small department store in Connecticut-
this was my entry point into retail. I was a sales associate and then worked at the

Just this March, Campbell was promoted to president of a new business unit tasked with ratcheting up Qurate's streaming and digital live
video commerce efforts. She's doing so by building upon QVC and HSN's existing vCommerce ecosystem, which already includes six linear
channels, VOD and streaming shopping services on multiple platforms. Innovation will be key for Campbell and her team as they work to
solidify Qurate's position as a vCommerce leader by expanding its marketing, business development, customer experience and merchandising
resources.

What does the metaverse mean to you? To me, it
means " futurism " -a new and exciting way to
create, connect and have shared experiences that
were otherwise impossible.
What's your Wordle strategy? Always use 3 vowels to
start!
Boredom buster? Get outside into nature... or
shopping, of course!
What will it take to see a seismic shift away from linear
television for sports? I think VR could be the game
changer for sports on the linear platform, providing
new capabilities with a big screen.
If I had a time machine, I would ... As a huge
proponent and fan of traveling, I would love to meet
some of the early world travelers who, in many
ways, were responsible for connecting our world. I'd
love to hear what motivated these humans to take
these brave journeys and the ambition it took to
discover the unknown world. ■
