Rego's nomination came from his instrumental role in transforming WOW!'s balance sheet with cable system sales to Astound and
Breezeline. These transactions were essential to WOW!'s support of a broadband-first strategy and resulted in a sizable reduction of
company debt. Specifically, the $1.2 billion sale of two Ohio markets to Breezeline and the $661 million sale of three markets in Chicago,
Indiana and Maryland generated $1.8 billion in gross proceeds. One of the results of the sales will be the ability for WOW! to bring FTTH
technology to up to 400,000 homes by 2021.

cable series with African-American women in 2021, just another sign of Perry's ability to
deliver shows that resonate strongly with the network's core audience. The recipient of the
2021 Frank Stanton Award for Excellence in Communication from the Center for Communication
for her transformative tenure at OWN is also raising the bar on unscripted fare with
the " Love & Marriage " franchise. A Friday night programming block that includes " Put A Ring
On It " and " Belle Collective " is also drawing strong ratings. Don't expect her to stop building
out more programs that focus on topics that matter to Black women and the Black community
any time soon. ■
