Larsen has been part of the Mediacom family for 16 years, and
he's a master at working behind the scenes in pivotal ways that
not everyone sees but are foundational to the company's success.
As he's learned from company chief Rocco Commisso, Larsen is
tough but fair as he steers both Mediacom's PR and government
affairs. The latter function lately has been trained on acquiring and
spending government funding to continue the company's work
building out infrastructure in underserved communities.

The phrase " digital divide " will go away when... The government
agencies tasked with awarding broadband grants realize that
partnering with nearby fiber network owners is a lot more
efficient and effective way to solve the problem than continuing
to hand out money to antiquated DSL network operators and
inexperienced startups.

A former dual-sport athlete at Yale University, Litner knows a thing
or two about rising to the challenge. That helped him not only
guide YES Network through the pandemic but also find ways to
keep improving and evolving the network's offerings. In March
2021, it launched the YES App, which helped increase unique
streamers per game by 246% for Yankees broadcasts compared
to 2019, when the content was hosted on another app. On the
linear side, YES finished 2021 as the most-watched RSN in the
U.S. for a 17th time in the past 19 years.
