develop allow customers to unlock the full power of modern connectivity
services. CommScope made its Fiber Optic Splice Closure
modular solution generally available in August, unlocking a faster
option for operators building out fiber. September brought the launch
of a new line of DOCSIS 3.1 cable gateways capable of supporting
its Low Latency DOCSIS solution, high split and Wi-Fi 6. Treadway
also negotiated deals with content companies like ViacomCBS for the
migration of networks from satellite to CDN IP distribution, cutting the
programmer's costs and eliminating geographical limitations.

If you've got a DOCSIS question, Chapman

and he's spent the past year stretching his wings and exploring the
capabilities of fixed wireless, Open RAN networks and the benefits
of network convergence. He's a bridge between the operator side
of the business and vendors, identifying challenges that can slow
down investment decisions and broadband rollouts and laying out
potential solutions. ■

Tubi is on a roll. The FOX-owned ad-supported
streamer saw a 40% bump in hours
streamed in 2021 compared with the prior
year thanks in large part to Massoudi's leadership.
Tubi has expanded its library by more
than 50% during the last year. Massoudi also
guided Tubi's entry into original content-more than 140 hours of
original programming debuted in 2021-and reached content partnerships
with many of the major Hollywood studios. He has his eye
on news, too. Tubi added nearly 80 24-hour, live local news feeds,
and in 2022 it will cover 58 designated market areas.
