the operator in the fall of 2019, van der Post
has helped Breezeline expand its borders
through a $1.125 billion acquisition of
WOW!'s Ohio systems and expand into new
markets served by large incumbent cable
operators. Today, the Cogeco Communications
subsidiary is the eighth-largest cable

Amazon completed its $8.5 billion purchase of MGM last March-
which delivered 4,000 films, including the " James Bond " and " Rocky "
franchises, and 17,000 television episodes-and Hopkins got busy
leading the integration of the company and making some tough
staffing decisions. This January, Amazon rebranded its pay TV network
Epix to MGM+. Hopkins, who led the 2021 agreement with the
NFL that made Amazon Prime its " Thursday Night Football " home,
will be looking to add sports content, movie offerings and buzzy
series like Amazon's " The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, "
which drew 25 million viewers on its premiere day. ●
