McAdaragh recently rounded out
Midco's senior leadership team by
adding a president role and tapping
a new COO. He's also stepping up
his leadership within the industry,
having been elected in June as the
chair of NCTA's board. On home turf,
Midco is in the middle of several fiber
expansion projects as well as creative
efforts to expand broadband through
partnerships such as the one it forged
with Land O'Lakes and farm cooperative
Crystal Valley. McAdaragh is keen
on local connections, a point driven
home by a multiyear agreement with
the University of North Dakota for
Midco Sports. The operator's regional
sports network inked a deal with
Comcast last year so that Xfinity
subs in Minneapolis, St. Paul and the
surrounding metro area can view its
programming.
