go through Cummings' hands. Her team produces
more than 200 hours of compilation and enhanced
programming annually. In her production role, she has
pitched and created content that brings awareness
to the pressing issues she wants to see be given a
platform, especially those related to transgender and
gender-nonconforming individuals. " Throughout my
career, my chosen family has been the people who
accepted and celebrated me as I am, the people who
look for opportunities to join forces and build things
together that are bigger and better than we could
create as individuals, " she says. She calls all of her
colleagues involved in A+E's ERGs and mentorship
programs her heroes.

Everyone at Charter
has felt the impact of
Dziedzic's work. He's
the mind behind the operator's first inclusion training
program, a module that guides leaders through how
to create more inclusive spaces. He also shifted the
structure of an existing initiative, Charter Inclusion
Talks, which drove attendance up more than fourfold.
Dziedzic wants to have more discussions about the
clock winding back in America when it comes to
LGBTQ+ rights. " In the past year there have been
over 500 pieces of legislation put forward that either
limit access to equal rights for LGBTQ+ people
or directly target us for discrimination. There have
been very public backlashes against our progress by
governments and corporations. Our very safety is at
stake with increased violent rhetoric and actions, " he
says. " People need to understand that we are here,
we contribute and that we need allies. "

DeSocio brings a
special touch to
A+E's partnerships
with brands like Ancestry and Geico, having delivered
custom solutions with a unique DEI-centric touch to
them and many others over the past year. DeSocio
has found a new passion recently-finding and shining
a light on the stories of queer seniors and aging
individuals that remain largely untold today across
media formats. " We have so many lessons to learn
and share across generations, " he says. " I'd love to
see more of that on our pages and on our screens. "
He's a key executive member of A+E's Pride ERG and
leads the corporate partnership with Do the WeRQ,
a nonprofit focused on LGBTQ+ representation in
marketing and advertising.
Bart
Fisher
VP, Development
Hallmark Media
Fisher is part of a revolution
at Hallmark
that has put more
diverse stories into
the network's original
movie lineup. He's supervised standout titles like
" Sweeter Than Chocolate " and " Autumn in the City "
over the past year, both of which featured thoughtful
representations of LGBTQ+ couples. " LGBTQ+
stories that describe the human condition for all
age groups hold a tremendous amount of importance
in this world, " Fisher says. " It is so exciting
to be part of a new era at Hallmark Media where
we can tell these stories with great tenderness and
compassion. " Fisher has also been responsible for
planning Hallmark's company-wide Pride events
and continues to be an active participant in AIDS
Walk Los Angeles.
