Fogler-Tortora is nothing
short of a trailblazer at Charter,
shaping the DEI identity
of the company just by being
herself. She was a founding member of Charter's
LGBTQ Business Resource Group and was recently
chosen from more than 100 leaders across Spectrum
Reach to lead the Spectrum Reach 2023 Diversity
and Inclusion Council after she expressed her lifelong
journey to push the LGBTQ+ community forward in
and outside the workplace. Some of the moments
where Fogler-Tortora has felt most supported have
come when coworkers or people in her life have
shown an openness to learning and sharing. " I will
never forget the day a colleague walked into my office
and said, 'Amber, I really want to support you and
your community. Is it OK if I join Spectrum LGBTQ?' "
she says. " That's when I knew this person was an ally
and would always be one. "

player for pushing
DEI forward at Charter,
co-leading efforts
with executive leaders to increase diversity across
the company and expand development opportunities
for all employees. He's also taking a keen look at
Charter's training programs to increase awareness
on diversity initiatives. For Goulette, Pride is far
more than a yearly celebration, rather, its something
that represents the journey of self-discovery and
acceptance LGBTQ+ individuals go through. " The
process of coming to terms with one's sexuality can
be challenging, given societal norms, family pressures
and expectations, " he says. " However, Pride
provides a moment to reflect on this transformative
journey and celebrate the strength required to overcome
these obstacles. " Goulette is an active member
of Charter's LGBTQ Business Resource Group's
steering committee and co-leads the company's
LGBTQ+ supplier diversity efforts.

Greiwe is expanding
content for the Latinx
community at NGLmitu, a network super-serving that
group in the U.S. He was key to the launch of mituTV,
a bilingual service with more than 120 hours of original
Latino-led programming. For him, Pride is an
opportunity to talk about every part of the LGBTQ+
experience: the good and the bad. " We need to talk
about those things, sure, but we also need to talk
about loss, stress, heartbreak and loneliness-even
that which is caused by our own 'community,' " he says.
" Pride means it's OK to have regrets, it's OK to admit
the journey for the last decade was messy, and it's OK
to admit that some days are still really hard...and part
of that is the struggle of living in a world where you're
gay. " Greiwe has entered the political arena, having
been the only openly gay candidate in the L.A. mayoral
race in 2022.

champion for bringing

to Fuse's young,
diverse audience for a long time. But he took that
mission to a new level this year, leading the company's
partnership with OUTtv to launch a FAST channel
with more than 400 hours of LGBTQ+ content
from around the globe. LGBTQ+ individuals continue
to face collective hurdles, but for many, the toughest
struggle is the one that comes daily-the fear that
showing who they are will become politicized or
used against them. " That's a heavy burden to put on
a community-that anything they do might somehow
provoke visions of being in the service of a vague,
nefarious plot, " he says. Combatting that takes a level
of fearlessness, he thinks, and finding the strength to
be assertive, confident and bold in spite of it all.
