Hsu has spearheaded
groundbreaking projects
that advance fiber broadband
capabilities and evolve
the industry, including the
launch of GFiber's new 20G
+ Wi-Fi 7 residential service-helping to lead
GFiber Labs's efforts to successfully test a 50
Gbps connection on a live network-and ensuring
breakthrough customer service strategy to support
satisfaction among GFiber's growing customer
base nationwide. That work has been pivotal to
the growth and development of the entire portfolio
of products and services at GFiber.
The persistence of double standards
and unconscious bias continues to be
a challenge for women at all levels.
Women leaders are often held to
different expectations, with traits
like assertiveness or confidence being
judged more harshly. It's on all of us to
raise awareness of bias and challenge
our own biases. Education and training
are important, but so is creating a
culture of allyship where both men
and women actively support and
advocate for each other and work to
build more inclusive
environments.
While women representation in
leadership positions has made
modest progress in recent years,
there is still a long way to go before
parity is reached. This is especially
true for women of color. This
underrepresentation also means
there is a lack of visible role models,
sponsors and advocates to champion
women for professional growth.
Another challenge today is the
unconscious bias in hiring, promotions
and advancement opportunities.

Effectv
Midha was instrumental in launching Effectv's Audience
Addressable solution, increasing targeting precision for
advertisers across Comcast's 28M+ household reach.
She also saw Effectv solidify its first-ever upfront agreement
with a leading agency holding company. Midha
played a part in the successful run of the Summer Olympics
after collaborating with NBCUniversal on Olympic
sponsorships. Outside of Effectv, she supports Comcast
RISE and mentors through the women's empowerment
organization She Runs It, in which she also sits on the
organization's board.
The biggest challenge for women in leadership today is overcoming persistent bias
and stereotypes. We need to continue to create inclusive cultures, foster mentorship
programs and ensure equitable opportunities. When organizations actively promote
diversity and value women's perspectives, they unlock innovation and inspire the next
generation of female leaders.
Jennifer Mitchell
President, Stations & Digital
CBS News and Stations
Promoted twice since joining CBS three years ago, Mitchell oversees 23 CBS-owned
stations, plus seven stations not owned by the network; over half of the stations are run by
women. She increased annual local news production by over 9,000 hours and launched
" CBS News 24/7, " a flagship AR/VR show that integrates AR/VR elements and 360-degree
reporting to create an immersive and engaging experience for viewers. The forward-thinking
Mitchell advocates for women in the workplace every day.
