Brown has been a key figure behind some of C-SPAN's most impactful coverage,
leading efforts to capture historic moments like the extended debate to elect a new
House Speaker, multiple impeachment hearings and high-profile trials. Brown has
pushed the boundaries of traditional broadcasting by introducing new approaches,
such as expanding primetime call-in programs and utilizing smartphone footage for
real-time event coverage. With more than 30 years at the network, Brown continues
to be a mentor to young talent, opening doors for the next generation of journalists.
His focus on mentorship and fostering fresh perspectives has been crucial in helping
C-SPAN adapt and thrive as it prepares for the future of political coverage and media.
WHY DO YOU THINK DEI HAS COME UNDER ATTACK BY SOME? DEI has been looked upon by some as the cousin of Affirmative
Action. Last year's Supreme Court decisions on Affirmative Action have brought this subject back into the national
conversation, which further impacts views about DEI.
WHAT NONPROFIT ARE YOU PROUD TO CHAMPION? I serve as Chairman of the Board for the Pi Upsilon Lambda Charitable
Foundation, which provides community support through mentoring, tutoring students and providing scholarships to
graduating high school seniors.

Campbell serves as the executive leader for the DEI stretch assignment for the
Enterprise Business Intelligence function, is an Executive sponsor for an enterprise-wide
mentoring program and is a co-founder and board member of the
IDEA council and IDEAtor program. He actively speaks to classes at the middle
school, high school, college and graduate school levels about potential career
paths in the Entertainment, Media & Technology space and has funded two
individuals' participation in Technology Career development programs while also
mentoring 11 individuals outside of Comcast.
HAS THE INTERNET CREATED MORE INCLUSION OR EXCLUSION? The internet has created both. For those with access, it
provides a powerful means to connect, explore diverse opportunities and engage with various perspectives, cultures
and ways of life. However, this connectivity also can create a greater divide, isolating those without internet access,
which is why it's so important to invest in broadband deployment, particularly in rural areas, as well as in digital skills
training.

From fostering a sense of belonging at NBCUniversal through her work as a member
of the Content Distribution's DEI Committee to her leadership in addressing economic
inequality in education in her community, Chandis makes a mark both within, and outside,
the media industry. As a key advisor to NBCU's distribution and coverage of the
2024 Paris Olympics, she championed an environment where different perspectives
are valued and celebrated.
WHAT DOES WORK-LIFE BALANCE MEAN TO YOU? Work-life balance means making a
concerted effort to carve out time to do what centers you during those times that work
is stressful, hectic and time consuming. For me, that means finding time to spend with family and friends over a meal
or drinks, phone call or neighborhood walk. Even if it's for an hour, having conversations that are not work-related and
laughing always help me recenter.
