Lopez oversaw Comcast's contribution
of approximately $4 million in
cash grants and in-kind services to
small businesses owned by people
of color in Oregon and under his
leadership and direction, Comcast
increased its funding and support
to Digital Navigator programs in the
Pacific Northwest. Throughout his
30-year career at Comcast, Lopez
has highly valued mentorship and
has a wealth of knowledge and uses
his expertise to mentor many team
members and informally influence
others.
WHAT DOES WORK-LIFE BALANCE MEAN
TO ME? Work-life balance means
securing time to recharge, renew and
refresh. We are part of an industry
that is always on, so my approach is
to intentionally schedule my personal
time and protect it as much as
possible.
Belinda Maldonado

Mediacom Communications
Maldonado has been a key advocate
for equity and inclusion at Mediacom.
During the pandemic, she led the
development of the " Reimagination
of the Workplace " program, which
introduced hybrid work and flexible
schedules. This initiative has now become
a core part of Mediacom's culture.
Maldonado's leadership extends
to the broader industry, including
serving on the board of Content &
Connectivity Human Resources.

INCLUSION? Because our mindsets
are distinctive based on our personal
life experiences, there is a high
potential for AI tools to reflect biases.
To mitigate risks, a commitment
must be made to review and test on
a continual basis by a team that is
multicultural, multigenerational and
from varying backgrounds.

As a key player in how Charter approaches
new laws and regulations in
addition to its employment practices
and HR policies, Manley's role requires
a deep and diverse knowledge
of the company's 100,000 employees.
She's a member of Charter's internal
business resource groups-Spectrum
Women and Spectrum Multicultural-but
also is involved with other
organizations like The WICT Network
and NAMIC, where she is Emeritus,
Immediate Past Chair.

From what I've seen and read, Kerry
is humble, has a sense of humor
that allows her to laugh at herself,
has grown rather than faltered from
difficult life experiences and has a
fabulous fashion sense. I aspire to be
a woman with such characteristics.
Marisol Martinez
GVP, Residential Marketing and Creative Strategy
Charter Communications
After earning a promotion in October 2023, Martinez's purview grew to include
all of Charter's direct response marketing campaigns for residential customers
as well as national acquisition campaigns. Since then, her team partnered with
Charter's Programming Acquisition unit on the launch of Spectrum Stream Latino
and worked on Hispanic-focused campaigns to promote Charter's connectivity
products. That included a series of commercials that featured the Mexican pop
band Reik promoting Spectrum One, which led to Charter putting on a free Reik
concert in L.A.
