MEAN TO YOU? I believe there are
work-life choices rather than balance.
Balance implies that everything
is in equilibrium when sometimes
there's a need to choose to
focus on life happenings more than
work and vice versa. It's more about
having awareness of where you are
in your life at the moment and making
conscious decisions that support
your priorities at that time.

Sims surprised many with the news
that she'll transition to her next
chapter after more than 13 years as a
key part of Discovery and now WBD's
leadership team. Given the key role
she plays in virtually every aspect of
the business, you can bet many were
relieved she agreed to stay on for a
while as the company searches for
a new legal chief. Sims gets kudos
for the role she played in the acquisitions
of Warner Media and Scripps
Networks as well as complex negotiations,
such as those with labor
unions. She also led WBD's legal
team in partnering with Street Law
for a program designed to expose
young students in diverse communities
to professional opportunities in
the legal profession.

Co-chair of AMCN's Advocate for Visible
and Invisible Disabilities BERG,
the neurodivergent Sipala is dedicated
to making sure the disability
community isn't forgotten. He wants
AMCN to be a home for brands that
support those efforts and collaborates
with brands to tell stories that
go beyond the basics. He partnered
with Pronghorn to celebrate Black
Business Month by showcasing
Pronghorn's short-form doc " Distilled
on AMC+ " and by furthering its message
to support diverse-owned and
-operated business and help them
tell their stories.

Smester has been a driving force within NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises,
shaping the network's programming and content development. Thanks to
her leadership, Telemundo has seen incredible success, including the 72nd
Miss Universe pageant, which pulled in 113 million viewers, and the hit reality
show " La Casa de los Famosos. " She's also made waves internationally, leading
Telemundo's biggest-ever casting call, which attracted over 30,000 applicants
across the U.S., Mexico and Colombia. As a mentor, Smester continues to inspire
the next generation of media professionals, especially young women.
