this year, and since then has overseen
negotiations with talent representatives
and secured some notable
new hires-like former Pittsburgh
Steelers Pro Bowl Wide Receiver and
Super Bowl XL MVP Hines Ward. He
also brought on former ESPN talent
Michelle Beadle, who will appear
on-air for " Access Hollywood " and
the NBC Sports Group. Hair's work in
diversity extends beyond cable. He's
a member of the National Association
of Black Journalists' Sports Taskforce,
which locates diverse talent in
the industry, and the National Black
MBA Association.

An 18-year veteran of
Discovery, Henry has
been key to the success of Science
Channel, Discovery Health Media,
ID and Military Channel, for which
he has served as a senior manager.
Currently, he negotiates the movie
deals for Military Channel's " An Oficer
and a Movie " franchise with Lou
Diamond Phillips and is a top negotiator
for ID's programming as well. For
college grads looking for a way in,
he offers simple, yet worthy, advice:

Holloway oversees
distribution and marketing
for the ION Network, Qubo Kids
Network and ION Life Network and is
responsible for ION Media Networks'
cable, satellite and telco agreements.
Holloway arrived at ION in April 2011
from NBC, where he served as president
of NBC network distribution, afiliate
partnerships and marketing for NBC and
its afiliates. No stranger to promoting diversity
throughout the industry, Holloway
is a founding member of NAMIC and
currently serves as a board director.
Andrew Ip

Cablevision
Ip leads the group
responsible for Cablevision's
WiFi product, a
hot new area in the MSO's business
scope. He believes that a diverse
cable industry eventually will coincide
with the broad base of cultures and
backgrounds of its customers. " Having
a diverse workforce helps cable better
understand the needs of its customers,
develop relevant products and
services, and ultimately help continue
building a long-term relationship with
the community, " he says.

System
Johnson oversees digital
ad product development,
integration, testing, execution and
analytics best practices and governance
for Turner's digital properties, enabling
execution of ad campaigns and products
across platforms. His responsibility
spans digital ad delivery and analytics

across online and mobile properties
for all Turner brands. His leadership
of digital ad systems, analytics and
messaging systems also helps drive important
business decisions that involve
TV Everywhere and other multiplatform
related initiatives. " Always understand

Erika Kennair

Kennair is a fast-rising
industry leader who
believes that diversity is about representation,
not reparation. She has
championed this cause at every turn in
her career with considerable success.
Kennair is responsible for developing
new original programming and talent for
the channel. She joined Syfy in 2008 as
director of development, overseeing all
creative aspects of original series like
" Alphas, " " Stargate: Universe, " " Sanctuary, "
" Outer Space Astronauts " and
" Neverland. " In 2011, she was voted one
of the Most Inluential and Powerful Latinos
in Media by the Imagen Foundation.
