LEWA Launches Compact Triplex G3E Pump for
Space-Limited Applications
LEWA introduces the triplex G3E, a compact triplex diaphragm pump
ideal for fuel gas supply systems on ships and other space-constrained
applications. Featuring a robust mono-block design, the G3E offers
smooth metering and exceptional power output with around 30 percent
space savings compared to modular pumps. Designed for medium
hydraulic outputs, it provides a low-pulsation alternative to single-head
pumps, with only 20 percent residual pulsation. This new pump can
operate at stroke frequencies up to 350 spm, achieving a flow rate of
20 m³/h at 16 bar, and pressures up to 400 bar at lower flow rates.
The G3E's efficiency ranges from 80 to 90 percent, significantly reducing
energy costs and extending the pump's lifespan.
