was successful in reducing microbial
load by more than 80%. Integrating UV
disinfection robots into hospital settings
can augment human efforts, providing
consistent and reliable disinfection
even in high-demand environments.
The lessons from past health crises,
particularly the COVID-19 pandemic,
have taught us the undeniable importance
of robust disinfection protocols
in hospital ORs. Combining the efficacy
of UV disinfection technology with the
human element of skilled healthcare
workers will be vital in safeguarding
public health in the face of future challenges.

automation, and ensuring staff
well-being, hospitals can significantly
enhance their ability to control disease
spread and protect the well-being of
patients and healthcare professionals
