Resident Assistants' Leadership Efficacy
CONCLUSION
The results of our study suggest that resident
assistants had significantly higher levels of
leadership efficacy than did a matched group
of students who were not resident assistants.
We encourage housing professionals to extol
and promote the leadership outcomes
derived from serving as a resident assistant,
and we encourage researchers to further investigate
the developmental outcomes of students
who serve in this critical role on college
and university campuses.
