Rod Machado has taught
millions the basics of flying
through flight lessons,
simulation and training
materials. Since 1973, he has
been teaching and speaking
to pilots in all 50 states and

in aviation science, Machado
holds degrees in psychology. He started flying at age 16, is a rated
ATP with all fixed-wing flight instructor ratings. Machado is a
columnist for AOPA Pilot and Flight Training magazines. His 10
titles include Rod Machado Instrument Pilots Handbook - a must
for those working in the IFR system.

Sean D. Tucker flies hardcharging, power aerobatics
in his highly modified, oneof-a kind aerobatic dream
machine sponsored by Oracle.
Its revolutionary set of wings
uses 8 ailerons instead of 4 and
sports a high-performance tail.
With more than 20,000 hours,
Tucker started his flying career
crop-dusting in modified
Stearman biplanes. In 1975,
he began competing, soon earning national recognition and the
coveted title of "U.S. National Advanced Aerobatics Champion."
Now with more than 1,100 performances at more than 450
airshows, he has won numerous aerobatic competitions and
received more than 18 prestigious awards, including induction into
the National Aviation Hall of Fame. Tucker amazes audiences with
his high-energy routines. His original flying style and infectious
personality have rocketed him to the top. In his performance, he
flies the aircraft backwards, straight-down, tail-first at more than
100 mph. More than half of Tucker's maneuvers are original and
have never been duplicated by another aerobatic pilot.
