Pro Line Fusion for King Air B300/350

Nicole White, business and regional avionics lead at
Collins Aerospace, briefed attendees on her company's
plans for three of its popular product lines: the Pro Line
Fusion upgrades for King Airs, modernizing Pro Line 21
installations and adding features to the Falcon Pro Line 4-to21
aftermarket upgrade.
" When we first introduced Pro Line Fusion to the King
Air market, we leveraged our HD landscape displays and
were able to enhance situational awareness and reduce pilot
workload, " White reported. " We've now received EASA and
ANAC certifications, along with the FAA. We're excited
to bring this technology into the aftermarket and, for those
customers who are looking for additional production-like
features, we will also be launching an OEM glareshield, the
L3 standby indicator, and we will also have a more-efficient
STC and installation package for all of you dealers.
" The next thing I want to talk about is one of our flagship
programs, which is Pro Line 21 modernization. We've been
bringing incremental updates to these Pro Line 21-equipped
aircraft for years, and I'm excited to announce that this year
we'll be adding CPDLC to the fleet. It'll be available in Q2
for our premier customers, and in Q3 for our King Air and
Hawker customers. "
The company said it will additionally be adding
certification for FANS 1/A and ATN B1.
" Last, I want to cover the Falcon - similar theme here, "
White said. " We have a Falcon Pro Line 4-to-21 aftermarket
upgrade today that brings old Pro Line 4 equipment out and
puts new, integrated display systems and an FMS update
in. I'm excited to announce in Q2 we'll have a multi-scan
weather radar STC that's available for the Falcon 50EX, and
our Falcon 2000 STC is available today. "

Flight Data Systems
Flight Data Systems provides information-management
solutions for the rotorcraft, business, military and commercial
aviation segments. The company's objectives include using
its data acquisition, recording, storage and analysis tools to
drive data-based operating efficiencies throughout the aviation

solutions. At the 2022 AEA Convention, the company
announced its flight data acquisition interface unit, which
enables operators to upgrade legacy, outdated flight data
recorders with the company's SENTRY series of recorders and
is to be available for shipping in the second quarter of 2022.
The SENTRY recorder line is the industry's smallest
and lightest available, according to the company, and offers
the lowest power consumption while still meeting the
EUROCAE ED-112A minimum performance standard.
It's available in CVR, FDR, and
CVFDR configurations, and
includes digital and analog
interfaces for seamless
integration across all operators.
Designed with a small footprint
in mind, FDS's SENTRY is
compact and lightweight enough to
have applications for multiple platforms,
ranging from small unmanned aerial vehicles and
urban air mobility aircraft to larger rotorcraft, business and air
transport airplanes.
According to the company, the new FDAIU is designed
to adapt SENTRY units to fit seamlessly into existing FDR
installations with no modifications required to the aircraft,
preserving the existing mounting tray and wiring, and saving
valuable time and labor while reducing costs. When combined
with the new FDAIU, FDS's SENTRY offers a low-impact
solution to replace legacy FDRs such as the L3Harris/
Fairchild F1000 and F800 as they reach end-of-life status.
" We are excited to launch the FDAIU to provide operators
simple, cost-effective, and future-proof upgrade solutions,
which extend their aircraft's useful life with continued safe
and compliant operations, " noted Shane LaPlante, vice

Flightcell International
Flightcell International's latest innovation provides
rotorcraft operators a solution for the increasing
prevalence of global requirements for mandatory cockpit
recording. The new product is the Flightcell SmartHUB,
an HD video, audio, flight data recorder and access point
for USB/IP devices. " Our new SmartHUB is the perfect
tool to meet increasing requirements we are observing
