Rugged Video's customers
include MROs, repair stations,
avionics dealers, commercial
operators and government
aviation departments. The
company's EAGLEi 4K
video and data recorder is its
most popular, versatile and
affordable system, and has
been chosen by a variety of
customers, from small singleship
operators to foreign
governments, according to
Gudmundson. It's approved
as a suitable cockpit recorder
for aircraft under contract
with the United States Forest
Service and New Zealand's
Department of Conservation.
While Rugged Video
is primarily focused on
helicopter operators, it's
starting to see more interest
from the fixed-wing market.
" In November, we
completed delivery of 29
EAGLEi 4K systems for
the Polish Air Force, which
included six Guimbal
Cabri G2s and 23 Diamond
DA20/40/42 fixed-wing
trainers, " Gudmundson said.
