after it discovers any serious failure, malfunction, or defect of an article. "
What is a serious failure, malfunction or defect? Too often, a serious failure,
malfunction or defect is in the eye of the beholder. This session will review the
regulation and the regulatory history of this regulation to better understand
the intent and offer opportunities to better manage service difficulty reports
through descriptive language in your repair station quality control system.
