Texas Aerospace Technologies and Genesys Aerosystems
TEXAS AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGIES entered into an
agreement with GENESYS AEROSYSTEMS to expand its
HeliSAS distribution into European markets with a specific
focus on the EMS market. In addition, Texas Aerospace
Technologies will identify and develop new authorized
Genesys HeliSAS dealer/installation facilities.
Genesys Aerosystems engineers and manufactures
safety-enhancing stability augmentation and advanced
autopilot technology for a range of light to heavy
helicopters. Texas Aerospace Technologies has provided
sales, technical support and distribution of IFR and
VFR helicopter autopilots in South America since 2021.
Adding Europe EMS markets to its list of responsibilities
will expand Genesys' footprint in-country by improving
relationships and increasing product knowledge, according
to the company.

Satcom Direct
SATCOM DIRECT's Plane Simple Ku-band tailmounted
antenna system received Federal Aviation
Administration and European Union Aviation Safety
Agency supplemental type certification approvals for
Falcon 7X aircraft. Satcom Direct worked directly with
Dassault Aircraft Services in Little Rock, Arkansas,
to obtain the STC, releasing the corresponding Plane
Simple Ku Service Bulletin for the Falcon type in April
2023. The SD Plane Simple Ku-band antenna variant
is now available for installation through the Dassault
factory MRO and Dassault Aircraft Services network.
According to the company, the latest STC gives all
Dassault Falcon 7X operators access to the power,
versatility and convenient management of the SD
Plane Simple advanced antenna technology, which
is powered by the Intelsat FlexExec high throughput
satellite network to deliver consistently reliable highspeed
data access for government, corporate and
private customers.
The simplified antenna installation requires
fitting two-line replaceable units, the tail-mounted
antenna and the SD modem unit, simplifying upgrade
pathways, reducing aircraft downtime, and optimizing
maintenance budgets. The latest certification
complements the existing Dassault Falcon 2000LX/
LXS/S approvals and 900EXy/LX obtained earlier this
year.
