Planning is underway for the
Washington State Society of
Orthodontists (WSSO) annual
meeting to be held in person in
Bellevue, Washington, on January 21, 2022. Members
can look forward to an outstanding meeting
that will include doctor lectures by Dr. Neal
Kravitz and team lectures with Michelle Shimmin.
Aside from great lectures that will provide ideas
for immediate implementation, this will be a welcomed
opportunity to reconnect with professional
colleagues and friends from throughout the
state and beyond.
On the legislative front, the WSSO most
recently collaborated with the Washington
State Dental Association and the American
Association of Orthodontists legal counsel to
protect the right to be called a dental specialist
in Washington. Our legislative chair, Keyvan
Sohrabi, has contributed an article published in
this Bulletin with more detailed information on
WSSO advocacy.
