Meeting will be hosted in Spokane,
Wash. More information on that event
will be available soon.
My last update mentioned our media
campaign efforts to reach healthcare
administrators with the value that
CDM, CFPPs bring to their facilities,
along with the need for staffing and
compensation policies to help address
the labor crisis. We continue that
work this spring, where our message
will again be featured on the Provider
magazine webpage, the publication of
the American Health Care Association
and the National Center for Assisted
Living. Visit www.ANFPonline.org/
support to find a webpage that can
be shared with the administration at
your facility. It outlines all the ways
facilities can support their CDM, CFPPs.
Speaking of compensation, you should
have seen the 2022 ANFP Salary &
Benefits Survey make its way into
your email inbox in early April. Due
to the COVID-19 pandemic, this is the
first Salary Survey administered since
2018. The survey results will be made
available to all members by early June,
and the final report will outline the
latest trends in salary information,
benefits, and employee compensation.
This past April 4-8 was our 7th Annual
ANFP Member Appreciation Week. This
celebratory week saw a total of three
free CE opportunities made available
to members, along with a week-long
discount on ANFP online courses.
ANFP had drawings each day where
members were randomly selected to
receive a free year of membership,
self-care related items, and a 15/10/5
hour CE package. We sincerely
thank you for being a member of our
wonderful organization, and this week
is a small token of appreciation for all
that you do to make us the association
for foodservice professionals.
The ANFP Skilled Nursing Facility and
Acute Care Benchmarking Surveys
opened again this spring. If you are
a foodservice director of a skilled
nursing or acute care facility (or both),
the information you provide can
really help gather important industry
data. Plus, those who participated
received one free CE hour! We thank
Gordon Food Service for being a key
sponsor of ANFP's Skilled Nursing
Facility Benchmarking Program, as
well as Sysco and DiningRD for their

LIVE AGAIN!
We are expecting a large
crowd for the Annual
Conference & Expo, set for
June 27-29 at the beautiful
Talking Stick Resort in
Scottsdale, Ariz.
If you have been on the ANFP or CBDM
websites lately, you may have noticed
some subtle changes on the home
page and interior pages. ANFP recently
upgraded the backend platforms of
both websites to be more modern
and efficient. While it visually may
not look much different, the website
experience should be faster and
smoother, especially on mobile devices.
These changes were made to better
serve you, the member. Even the home
page for ANFPConnect, the ANFP
online member community, received a
modern, refreshed look.
I look forward to the year ahead and
achieving many more successes. ANFP
members are resilient, tenacious, hardworking,
and compassionate. That's
