Various grants are offered for foodservice
professionals through the NFEF and
supporting partners.
Scholarship
Opportunities
The University of Florida and
the University of North Dakota
are pleased to offer scholarship
opportunities once again for
foodservice managers desiring to
further their education and career
potential by becoming a CDM,
CFPP.
Professional Development
Member Dues and Certification
Fees Grants
ANFP certified members experiencing
financial difficulties that prevent them
from paying their annual membership
and certification dues are invited to
apply for a dues grant. This one-time
grant covers ANFP membership and
CDM certification fees. Dues grants
are awarded to current, active ANFP
members with a CDM, CFPP credential
in good standing. Applications for dues
grants opened June 1 and will close July
15. Award decisions will be made July 31.

2020-21 Chapter
Champions
Kansas ANFP
Minnesota ANFP
North Dakota ANFP
Congratulations to the Kansas and
Minnesota ANFP chapters on earning
their five-year Chapter Champions badge!
Fall Regional Meeting Grant
The Regional Meeting grant will pay for
the recipient's registration for the Toledo,
Ohio meeting on Sept. 23-24, plus a
small stipend that will be provided in
check form at the event.
Fall CDM Credentialing Exam
Grants
These grants cover the certification exam
fees in the amount of $399.
Performance Foodservice CDM
Exam Preparation Grant
These grants will be awarded to candidates
pursuing the CDM, CFPP credential.
Grant covers the cost of certification exam
study materials up to $225.
Hormel Health Labs Student
Grant
These grants award students accepted into
(or currently enrolled in) an ANFP-approved
training program. The grant recipients will
receive up to $601 to cover tuition and fees,
and a credit of $399 to cover the certification
exam registration fees.

In the past year, three state chapters
supported the Chapter Champions
program and 1,051 individuals
contributed with 1,431 donations.
NFEF funds its programs through
donations from the following sources:
* Corporate Support - 65 percent
* Marketplace Checkout - 18 percent
* Chapter Champions - 3 percent
* Summer Fundraiser - 2 percent
* All Others - 12 percent
The Foundation awarded 91 grants in
FY20-21. This includes needs-based dues
grants to ANFP members, continuing
education grants, student grants, exam
prep grants, and certification grants.
