Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. He is also a
Director at Large on the ANFP National Board of Directors and the
State President for ANFP South Dakota.

* Bring your allspice " A " game. Attitude,
appearance, ambition, appreciation, and
accountability. Focus on these attributes at
work, creating a professional and supportive
environment.
* Marinate your passion. Growing up, both of my
grandmas were school cooks. Before I finished
breakfast, I was already planning what to have for
dinner. I love to cook and try new things.
* Add a scoop of pride. Take pride in everything you
do. Always celebrate your successes and learn
from your mistakes.
* Bring out the flavor with creative leadership. You
are always on stage, so be amazing and lead by
example. Bring out the greatness in others. Inspire
the uninspired.
* Rise to the challenge with continued learning.
Every day can bring stress in one form or another.
We must rise to the challenge, like yeast rises to
help make a great loaf of bread.
* Add a generous amount of gratitude. It takes
just a few seconds to show someone gratitude.
Gratitude is the most magnetic trait, and everyone
loves to feel appreciated. A simple thank you can
go a long way.
* Reduce stress and increase joy. We have to deal
with problems every day. So, find a solution to the
problems you can control. If there is a problem out
of your control, let it go.
* Make good communication the center of the
plate. Good communication is vital! Be open to all
forms of feedback. We cannot fix what we are not
aware of. " Can't " and " impossible " are not in my
vocabulary because anything is possible, so make it
happen.
* Sprinkle in some fun! Create an environment
where people love coming to work every day. Find
time for humor and lighthearted conversation. If
you love what you do, you will never work a day in
your life.
* Top it off with volunteering. Provide selfless
service and give back to your community. Now
that you have read all the instructions in this
Recipe for Success, I challenge you to get involved
and volunteer in life. You will find success and
fulfillment!
