for over 40 years. She has spent most of her career working in long-term
care, upscale assisted living facilities, and hospitals.
St. Clair is currently serving as the Immediate Past President of Georgia
ANFP (2022-2024), Chairperson for ANFP's Chapter and Insight Task Force
(2022-Present), Board Liaison, Awards and Recognition Committee for ANFP
(2023-Present), and is an ANFP Director at Large (2023-Present).

Regina St. Clair, CDM, CFPP
1. Seek to understand, don't assume the worst. When you take the time to listen, it may be
easier to understand.
2. Plan to be successful. It's up to you to set your own goals and to achieve them.
3. Communicate. Don't shut down when you think you are not being heard. You'll never know
who could be listening!
4. Be transparent in everything you do. Be open to sharing failures and successes.
5. Embrace change. It may seem like chaos. Change is difficult for some, harder for others,
but necessary for all.
6. Be ready for those pertinent conversations. They will come when you least expect them.
7. Be flexible and steady or your work will never be done.
8. Extend empathy and concern when it's needed. Everyone requires support and sensitivity
now and then.
9. Mind your spirit. Don't let negativity creep in. Surround yourself with people who are
hopeful and have a positive outlook.
10. Prioritize work-life balance. Take the time to consciously balance your professional
commitments and your personal pursuits. Both areas of your life will benefit.
