A major component of the Strategic
Plan is an emphasis on Diversity,
Equity & Inclusion throughout the
organization. The DE&I Task Force
has done a phenomenal job building
up our program. You may have seen
our celebratory months featured
on ANFP social media and in Edge.
Or maybe you noticed DE&I-themed
online courses available in the ANFP
Marketplace. I'm thrilled to share
that we've recently published a DE&I
webpage that outlines our strategy
and provides a handful of helpful
resources. I encourage you to take a
look at www.ANFPonline.org/DEI.
ANFP's 2024 Benchmarking Program
opened on March 1. If you work in a
Skilled Nursing or Acute Care facility,
I encourage you to register for the
benchmarking program and complete
the survey. By participating in the
program, you will be able to assess
your facility's performance against
industry standards and benchmarks,
which helps identify areas of strength
and opportunities for improvement.
Complete the survey by April 30 and
you will receive 1 free continuing
education credit. You can get started
by visiting www.ANFPonline.org/
benchmark.

WE APPRECIATE YOUR SERVICE
We've developed a few different ways
that you can share your voice. The first
is our ANFP Town Halls. The board of
directors and I serve as panelists on
these hour-long webinars where we
share important updates from the
organization and answer any questions
that viewers may ask. Our last Town
Hall meeting in February saw a record
number of attendees and we had a
wonderful discussion. The next Town
Hall will be April 29 and you can find
registration information under Events
on the ANFP website homepage. You
can also view the archive of Town
Hall podcasts at videos.ANFPonline.
org/town-halls. If you are a chapter
leader, join us for our monthly Happy
Hour chats. ANFP staff will send you
information ahead of time and we
share best practices. I always feel
highly motivated after these calls.
Finally, in the spirit of our upcoming
Member Appreciation Week, I want to
say thank you. I appreciate the hard
work you do on a daily basis at your
facility. Thank you for being a member
of ANFP and making us such a strong
organization. Thanks for going onto
the ANFPConnect Open Forum and
sharing your questions and advice and
making us all smarter. Thank you for
taking the time to read this update and
learn more about our initiatives and
