foodservice industry help advance the
mission of ANFP at the state level.
Rosalind Davis, CDM, CFPP has been
the backbone of the Illinois ANFP
chapter for many years. Most recently,
during the pandemic, she personally
phoned over 500 chapter members to
invite them to chapter meetings and
become involved, and was also able to
recruit new chapter leaders because
of these efforts. She continued her
efforts by contacting other healthcare
organizations and administrators
throughout the state and raising
awareness of the CDM, CFPP and the
chapter. Davis also regularly travels
throughout the state to introduce high
school students to food service and the
credential, educating a new generation
of future CDM, CFPPs.

The Distinguished Service Award
(Corporate Partner) recipient exhibits
strong support for ANFP, its members,
and its mission through corporate
partnership and service.
Amy Bollam, RDN, LD, MPS has been a
dedicated Corporate Partner of ANFP
for many years. Bollam is a tireless
ambassador for ANFP in pursuit of
our mission to position the CDM,
CFPP as the expert in foodservice
management and food safety. She
is a highly regarded thought leader
on issues impacting the foodservice
industry and shares her knowledge
through many different avenues,
always highlighting the knowledge and
expertise of our members. Bollam's
service to ANFP has included volunteer
leadership roles on both the Industry
Advisory Council and the national
Board of Directors. She is a frequent
and popular speaker at our live events
and on many webinars, providing
exceptional continuing education
to ANFP members. Bollam is highly
regarded and respected by her fellow
Board members as someone who
listens and distills issues carefully and
thoughtfully, resulting in countless
contributions to help ANFP thrive and
grow.
DINING DISTINCTION AWARD
The Dining Distinction Award honors
a member who has contributed
significantly to the health and wellbeing
of individuals while providing an
optimal dining experience, including the
nutritional value of food, presentation,
the environment in which food is served,
and interactions with clients.
Li-Huei (Emily) Chen is the Director
of Foodservice and Nutrition at Kin On
in Seattle, Wash., where she provides
residents a unique and authentic
dining experience featuring Asian
dishes while meeting the dietary
standards and requirements of
residents. Chen ensures residents
have a positive dining experience
with every meal incorporating
familiar Asian ingredients in dishes
that are significant in meaning,
all while residents can use distinct
table manners and appropriate
utensils (which is important in Asian
dining). She ensures the dining room
is decorated in a manner that is
inviting and festive that encourages
interaction among the staff and
residents.
HORIZON AWARD
The Horizon Award recognizes
members who are new to
management, and who demonstrate
a desire for future growth through
conditions to their facility or
community, or local chapter, and
display leadership in fostering
equality, diversity, and inclusion in
the workplace.
Mary McKillip, CDM, CFPP has 30
years of experience in working
with special needs individuals and
continually shows compassion and
patience with her employees. She
has fostered an environment for her
staff, who vary in age and ability,
to ensure each employee is valued,
appreciated, and set-up with the
tools and resources to succeed. She
is also a known advocate for patients
to ensure they have a positive dining
experience within her facility. She
understands the different needs
of the patients and does her best to
accommodate each of them, always
with empathy and great care.
INNOVATION AWARD
The Innovation Award recipient
has enhanced their nutrition and
foodservice operations through
technology, program development,
nutrition, and operations.
Jeff Whary, CDM, CFPP was key in
developing and implementing his
facility's IDDSI program. He took
