Favorite part of attending the APMA National: I got to present my research
at the Abstract Poster session.
Method of celebrating receiving your reward: I took a quick day trip to
the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The beautiful forests were
like something out of a fairy tale - definitely a trip to remember!
Additional thoughts: I feel incredibly honored to receive the APMSA
National Student of the Year Award! This recognition represents
a significant milestone in my podiatric education journey and is a
testament to the unwavering support and guidance I've received from
the SMUCPM community. Throughout my coursework, rotations,
and leadership pursuits, my classmates, mentors, and faculty have
been an invaluable source of motivation, propelling me forward
even in the face of challenges. Looking ahead, I am excited to pay
it forward by mentoring future students, helping them overcome
challenges, and achieve their dreams!

Favorite part of attending the APMA National: It is exciting to see
professionals in the field, both students and practicing podiatrists
that are trying to further the profession and advance it in the right
direction.
Method of celebrating receiving your reward: Nothing much, had a plane
to catch shortly after so I guess just hung out at Nashville Airport.
Additional thoughts: Just extremely grateful and humbled by being
chosen for the award. Also, I am extremely proud of the APMSA and
my school Barry University and I am blessed to be associated with
both.
