to be honest with yourself about how much " me " time you
need to keep a healthy attitude about school. Once you find
this balance, putting in the work for school gets a lot easier.
That's been my experience, anyway.

this song was so fun is because the whole song is sort of a
double entendre. On the surface, it's a pop-punk song about
prioritizing having fun over your values, and then having your
relationship end consequently. The truth is that the song is
about the death of my hamster, Sir Hammule Ham-Ham IV.
Q. What advice do you have for students with
extracurricular interests as they pursue their
podiatric medical careers?
There's a balance to this, and you should do whatever you
can to find it. Podiatry school is draining, especially when
you're in your first two years. It feels like there is no upper
limit to how much you can study. No matter how much time
you put in, you feel like you can always do more. Despite
this, I feel that studying follows the law of diminishing
returns. If you study so much that you begin to neglect
yourself and your needs, your schoolwork is going to begin
to suffer too. When you sacrifice doing things that make
you " you " , school can feel like a nightmare instead of an
opportunity, and it begins to show in your grades. I'm not
saying the cure for this is to focus on school less, but rather

Q. Any final thoughts or comments?
The only thing I have to say is make sure you support your
friends in school and in their interests. I would have never
released my music if it were not for my friends, and I think it's
important to continue encouraging your friends to pursue their
hobbies. Even if you personally think their art sucks, there is
such a wide audience that every artist can find their niche, but
most won't share it without some support behind them.
