Getting to the APHA
Annual Conference

The APHA Annual conference is a great event that I was
able to attend with the generosity of an APMSA Travel
Grant. Each year, over ten thousand people interested
in improving health come to one location to share their
knowledge. The Foot and Ankle Health section is small
which gives students the opportunity to get great networking
and mentorship opportunities. They also have a good chance
at being presenters as well! Not only was I able to share my
research at this conference but we also did free foot exams
to help promote foot health and demonstrate the skills and
training podiatrists can contribute to public health! I am
so thankful I was able to attend this meeting and hope to
continue returning on an annual basis. Thank you APMSA
for your support!
